Four Biomedical students awarded degrees at the December, 2006
commencement exercises. |

Four students from the Biomedical Science Graduate
Program were awarded Ph.D. degrees at the December, 2006 commencement
exercises. Deidra Mountain received her Ph.D. degree under
the direction of Dr. Krishna Singh from the Department of
Physiology. Tammy Ozment-Skelton also received her Ph.D. Her
research advisor was Dr. David Williams from the Department
of Surgery. Susan Mabe deceived her Ph.D. degree under the
direction of Dr. Scott Champney from the Department of Biochemistry
and Molecular Biology. Yiyong Liu recieved his degree at the
December commencement and studied under the direction of Dr.
Yue Zoe from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular
Biology.

Graduates
of the Biomedical Science Program were hooded at a special ceremony
in the Carnegie Hotel Ballroom preceding the Commencement Exercises
on December 16, 2007. |
